A couple of nights ago we had an outage in our area that was big enough to be acknowledged on the Comcast website, which means it must have been pretty major.
Since the outage, I have been getting abysmal download speeds. I'm signed up for 40down/10up and that's about what I was getting prior to the outage, but since then, well...
1down/5up seems to be about where I'm at. I'm also very confused about my Ookla speedtest results, as when I speedtest myself on the Comcast hosted server I receive my advertised (and paid for) speeds, but no other server returns anything close to those results. I've restarted the modem and the router a couple times each with no improvement to show for it.
Here's a picture of my speedtest results so you can see what I mean. The two high speed results are both to the Comcast server, the others are all the different servers hosted in the Seattle area.
Anyone have any suggestions?
