So I decided to go out and trade my old linksys router (about 8 years old or so) out for a new one (linksys E2500 model) Got it setup, went on Diablo 3 to try it out....and after about 15 minutes starting lagging so bad I couldn't play again. Ran a pathping to D3 isp to see what was going on...

Showing a 7% packet loss on a brand new router with a new ethernet cable? That's confusing. Also I check my modem numbers, and the upstream scaled back, but the downstream went up.Here is my downstream info
Cable Modem Downstream
|
and upstream...
Cable Modem Upstream | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
and status if that helps...
Item | Status | Comments | ||
Acquired Downstream Channel | 633 MHz | Primary Downstream Locked
Ranged Upstream Channel | 27.9 MHz | Success
Provisioning State | OK | Operational
Ethernet Link Status | Up | 100 Mbps/Full duplex |
Just can't figure out what the problem is, or why I'd show 7% packet loss on a new router. Any help? or should I call comcast and have them send a tech out?
