My current comcast speed tier is extreme 105. Have talked to tech support on the phone and they all follow the same textbook procedures and not one of them has a clue. Online tech support via chat was even worse, I had them offering me package deals in the middle of their futile textbook attempts at correcting the issue. The earliest they can schedule a tech visit to my house is 4 days from now, that is unacceptable, my internet is unstable at the moment.
I can't run a complete speedtest nor do a shaperprobe test due to the high packet loss I'm experiencing. These are the shaper probe results:
DiffProbe release. January 2012. Build 1008.
Shaper Detection Module.
Connected to server 38.98.51.25.
Estimating capacity:
Upstream: 2727 Kbps.
Downstream: 185725 Kbps.
The measurement will take upto 4.0 minutes. Please wait.
Checking for traffic shapers:
Upstream: Measurement aborted due to high packet loss rate.
Downstream: Measurement aborted due to high packet loss rate.
PS. I have my modem hardwired to my PC's ethernetport via cat-6 Cable, no router involved. Forgot to mention, I'm in Miami the westchester area
