Yesterday I decided review my bill with customer support. My internet package was 25MBPS plus the Blast bringing it up to a maximum of 50MBPS. When ever I tested the actual speed my numbers were @ latency 23ms, 29-30MBPS download & 9-11MBPS upload. The package I was offered, The Double Play, gave us an additional phone line and removed the Blast function. The internet download speed was claimed to 25MBPS. It didn't seem to be a significant difference for my needs versus the $25/month savings. However several hours later my new internet speed dropped to 100ms,0.78MBPS and 0.048Mbps respectively. I called for assistance and nothing worked. I asked that the Blast be turned back on and nothing changed until this morning. The speeds are back to the pre order speeds. Can comcast provide the promised 25MBPS w/o Blast?
