Comcast has notified me that I need to upgrade my cable modem to DOCSIS 3.0. I have Internet and VOIP phone service. I am trying to find one to purchase and eliminate the monthly rental charge, but Staples, Best Buy, and Radio Shack do not seem to have cable modems with phone output. I recently bought a new router so I want to keep my cost under $100.00 for a modem. Comcast has a list of certified modems at http://mydeviceinfo.comcast.net/ but even that list does not identify which modems support Comcast Voice service. Can anyone suggest a cable modem that offers Ethernet and phone outputs? Yours, Michael F =======
