because I'm German, I'm 7 months in Germany and 5 months in Florida.
Therfore i use the Seasonal Convenience Plan.
Since 3 years, the modem does not response after tne end of Seasonal Convenience Plan.
The only way to resolve the problem, is to start Comcast_Desktop_Software_1305.exe for resetting the Thomson DHG536.
But this is functionable only at home (LAN) and not over internet.
I can't switch on the A/C, freezer, lights and can't switch off the cameras and alarm.
I have chatted for hours and hours. They send many reset comands. All without solution!
It's hard to know, what a poor hardware Comcast is using for a expensive value.
I also wish, that my account shows the actual IP address. Because the old fashioned Netgear WNR1000v2 router can only access a few IP host services.
In a few days I'm back, to visit my hot house. Drink a warm Coke and then I reset the Thomson DHG536 by me self.
